The power of POSITIVE self-talk

Good morning, everyone, and let me welcome you to Friday, December 18th, 2020. I hope all of you had a wonderful week. Did you have any snow ❄️ in your area? Is it cold where you live? How does the weather affect your body and mind and brain? Does it make you depressed? Does it keep you inside? Do you try to get outdoors for a walk or to shovel around your home?

I know that some mornings I look out at the gloomy snow ❄️ and cold 🥶 and I just want to curl up and go back to bed. But I talk to myself and try to motivate myself to get up and get going. Today will be a great day! I have started doing simple breathing exercises every morning and every night. I play a game of sudoku in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee ☕️. Now that I have established these practices into a daily routine, I worry less and sleep better.

I try to be my own best cheerleader 📣, which is not always easy, but I am the one who knows myself the best, so that’s the way I roll!
