Harry Houdini was born today in 1874. In 1721, Johann Sebastian Back first published the “Six Brandenburg Concertos.” Also, the Exxon Valdez spilled 240,000 barrels of oil in Prince William Sound in Alaska in 1989. Do you remember when that even happened? I know I do. It’s interesting how we remember random events, don’t you think?
Do you have any experiences with this kind of short-term, long-term recall? How long after your diagnosis were you able to recall? What are some of the stranger things that you can recall?
You know, we simply cannot predict where and when we might have a lightning bolt of recall in our minds. Sometimes it seems like we are stuck in a non-recall loop. Sometimes it seems that we will never be able to recall certain things. But then, a lightning bolt goes off. I guess what I am trying to say is that we don’t know where and when re might have a “recall,” but we need to continue on with our lives. Waiting is not always run, but sometimes that is our best bet. And one day, I think we will all be surprized with what exactly we are able to recall and retrieve.
Have a great day!
