Hello, everyone! I would like to welcome you to a new year. How is it going for you so far? Are you excited? Are you worried? Are you anxious? Do you know WHY you are excited, worried, anxious? Why do we feel the way we do? Why do we let it DEFINE our day, our week, our month, our year? Well, unfortunately, I do not have the answer for this important question. If we have the power to feel this way, then we must also have the power to flip it. How do we “flip it?” It is really very easy. You can find a pen 🖊 and paper 📝 and write down the positive things going on in your life right now. If you feel like nothing positive is going on right now, think about positive things that have happened to you in the past. Maybe you went for a walk in the woods a few days ago. Maybe you had a wonderful conversation with a friend last week. In my experience, using my brain 🧠 and memory to recall past events gives my short-term memory some happy 😆 exercise. Later on your brain might move this short-term memory over to your long-term memory. What works for you? Keep on pushing forward and staying positive!
