Hello, everyone! I am working on revising my short story, “Sock it to Me” today. This story has been through the spin cycle (it takes place primarily in a laundromat) nemurous times. It started out on paper quite a while ago and has now emerged today in a 12-point, Times New Roman font. It is double-spaced and and 13 pages long, including the cover page.
I will be looking at it in a “final revision” state and, because of this, I hope to send it out to various publishing agencies this weekend. I know we have been throught a lot together. We have moved locations, made our way into different computers and printers, and we think we are ready to spread our wings. It will be a big step forward for me, as well as all of the characters in this short story. They have changed colors, locations, and plots, but their personalities have always remained the same.
In our time together I have foound how devoted and determinded all of us are. It took a lot longer to reach this point that I thought it would, but so has just about EVERYTHING since my TBI. But, in the end, we made it. We made it in our new, revised, time-frame.
God bless you all and have a TERIFFIC TUESDAY!
