Hello, and happy Friday, December 8th! I am working on my posture today, and hope to continue doing so. It is actually not that easy. I was in a medically-induced coma for about a month many years ago. I moved to a wheelchair later and eventually re-learned how to walk. I had a lot of “down-time,” meaning I was not able to utilize my full rangers of motion. I had more on my mind than good posture at that time, but it really is important. I will expand more on this later. It is getting closer and closer to Christmas and the holiday season, and that means a lot of visual, mental, and emotional factors to take in. It can consume you and sneak up on you. During this time, listen to what your body and mind are telling you. If you don’t have the energy to go Christmas shopping, for example, SAY SO! You can always reschedule, pick different times, and pick different days. Ask yourself, “If I’m not ALL IN FOR IT TODAY, is it worth going? This should be a fun, happy, and exciting time. Take time and make an effort to TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF, and we will be able to make it through with a smile. God bless you and have a wonderful weekend!
